There are also optional fees which include: a recital program book, a finale t-shirt for the last number in the show, seat vouchers l advanced sale tickets for seats to the recital, and individual and group recital program book picture fees. Fees associated with the Summer Session for dance class, intensives, or summer camps are a registration fee and summer tuition. All fees are collected via automatic debit or automatic draft, known as ‘the draft'.
- 02
All dance related fees are collected on the 1st of each month via automatic draft, known as 'the draft,' Once fees have been collected on the I tit of the month, the next month's fees are then placed on your personal account with us, known as your 'customer portal,' so that you may review them for accuracy. The draft takes place on the 1st of every month. If you wish to avoid the draft, you may pay by check or cash at the front office before the 1st of each month. Get a copy of the draft HERE or by clicking Downloads in the menu above.

Costumes are for the end of the year performance in May. Costumes are ordered per class for each child participating in the year-end recital. If your little dancer is in a combo class (Ballet f Tap), then she will have two dance numbers with one costume per dance in the recital. The Costume Fee is broken up into 2 monthly payments, known as Costume Deposits, in accordance with the draft schedule. Students are measured in October for their costume(s). The first Costume Deposit is used to place a down payment on costumes with the costume companies and is non-refundable. The second costume deposit is used to pay the balance in November to ensure they will arrive in time for recital book pictures. Costume Deposits are allocated the moment they are drafted and are non-refundable.
Please note: Be Bop / Hip Hop may require an additional shoe purchase for recital not covered in the costume fee.

The Recital, sometimes called the Revue, is a performance on stage at the end of the dance year. The recital is the time when your little dancer gets to show off what they've worked an all year. The recital is typically held on the third weekend in May and is preceded by a rehearsal for the big day. Participation in the recital is optional. Students registering on a non-recital basis will be charged according to the draft schedule from the time of registration through May.
- 05
The Recital fee is used to produce the Dance Recital at the end of the dance year in May. The recital fee is used to pay for the venue, the production company, music, special effects, lighting, the stage, stage curtains, side screens, video production work, recital webcast, and participation awards for all dancers participating in the recital. Due dates for the Recital fee and Recital related optional fees (such as finale t-shirts) are notated on the draft schedule. Recital fees are allocated the moment they are drafted and are non-refundable.

Classes range in size depending on a number of factors. Class sizes do not become bigger than what a teacher can comfortably handle. Multiple Teachers and/or Assistants may or may not be present in class. Assistants are chosen to maximize personal attention for every student. Attention is paid to each student. Each student is pushed on his or her level.
- 07
If enrolling from May-August, Registration Fee and first month's tuition is due and will be automatically drafted at the time of registration from the payment form on file. If enrolling during the month of September or later for dance classes, please click 'What's Due When Registering' below.

To maximize value for our families to get the amount of tickets desired together at the shows of their choice, we no longer include tickets in the recital fee. You will be able to easily purchase tickets for the recital(s) of your choice in May through our online ticketing system.

Yes, we do! Picture week takes place sometime in late March or very early April, based on the photographer’s schedule. We offer an all-inclusive Picture Package deal that includes One Individual Picture in the Recital Program Book, Dancer’s inclusion in all class photos in the Recital Program Book, the Photographer's Session Fee, Photo Editing and Finishing, and a Digital Download Link of your dancer's Individual Picture emailed directly to you to do with what you choose! The optional Picture Package deal fee is conveniently drafted on March 1st so that when you come in for dance pictures, the only thing you have to do is enjoy the SMILE you see on your little dancer's face.
See below for a more comprehensive look at the four different parts included in this VALUE PACKED package:
1. The Recital Book ¼-of-a-Page Picture Space – No different than purchasing a lot space on which to put a house, this is the lot space, the recital book “real estate” within which your student’s individual dance picture will appear. This also includes the administrative processing work required to correctly insert the picture into the recital book, which is no small feat.
2. The Photo Session – This is a full event. It’s the actual picture taking session, complete with a photographer, a photographer’s assistant, an Elite teacher (usually the owner) posing and helping the student take the best picture(s) possible, and a team of four to six additional people present specifically to streamline the process and deliver a great customer service experience. Student's choosing the Picture Package deal receive one session in one costume with the photographer.*
3. The Photo Editing & Administrative Processing Finish Work – No picture is complete without editing. Editing is the part of the process that no one sees and takes quite some time to complete, even after the photo session has long been over. In fact, before editing can even begin, pictures must be manually collected, labeled, and sorted. At this point, based on years of experience, the studio Director or Assistant Director will personally pick the picture of the student that she feels best highlights them. Please note: Because of the magnitude of the picture process, the director's decision is final. The picked picture is then edited for you. Once the entire process is completed, a special distribution process is followed to get the finished product directly to you.
4. The Picture Package – Each family receives 1 digital download link with their student(s) individualized dance picture. (If you took pictures in more than one costume for more than one package in more than one session, the digital download you receive with the Picture Package deal is in the costume of your choice.) As an added complimentary bonus, Elite Dance also includes your student’s class picture(s) with your download link, further enhancing value.
THE TL/DR (Too Long / Didn’t Read) OF IT:
The picture fee includes 4 parts:
· ¼ Page Picture Space in the Recital Book
· The Photo Session Event
· Editing & Administrative Processing Work
· Your Digital Download Photo Package
· Bonus: Your Student’s Class Picture(s)
* Only one costume per session allowed. Pictures in multiple costumes constitute multiple sessions. Pictures with additional people also constitute multiple sessions. Additional sessions may be purchased either by purchasing additional packages or additional units available or through an additional $25 session fee paid per session.

No problem! The easiest (and best) course of action is to register first and foremost by the age of the student regardless of years of dance or upcoming birthdays. During the first month, should we feel the student should be moved to another class, we will contact you. However, if you are still uncertain in any way regarding classes, we'd love to assist you! Email or call us.

Every student who registers has the option to choose whether or not to participate in the recital in May. If you are unsure whether or not your little dancer will like classes, choose Not Doing Recital on the registration form and you will not incur costume and recital fee charges.
Please note: If you choose to have your little dancer participate in the recital, you will be responsible for all recital and costume related fees. Please refer to the draft schedule for when they are due.
If you are interested in changing your recital participation status, please let the office know.

During registration, many of our classes become full. For this reason, we provide a waitlist on which you may put your little dancer! To place your dancer on a waitlist, you must go through the normal registration process. The only difference is that there is no charge to register as a wait lister. However, if a spot becomes available in the class, as a convenience to you, Elite Dance will notify you via email, put the waitlisted student into the class, and charge the payment form on file. At any time before class enrollment, should you wish to withdraw the student from the waitlist, please contact the office.
